"What goes around, comes around"
Brief
Fashion has a strong tendency to borrow from the past, re-using the same inspirations and ideas, but re-interpreting them for contemporary audiences.
With this in mind, pick an era to inspire your own outfit design:
- 1920's – 'decadent'
- 1960's – 'swinging 60's'
- 1980's – 'power dressing'
This is your opportunity to demonstrate new fashion trends, using the past as a stimulus.
Submission Requirements
You will be required to enter the following work to fulfil the brief:
- one moodboard (A4 only) showing your inspiration for your design
- one final illustration (A4 only) of your design
Guidelines
- only one entry is allowed to be submitted per person
- must live or study within the South East Essex area
- open to the general public, schools, colleges and universities
- designs must be your own work
- entry form must be attached to your work
