Constructing Culture
Brief
Cultural society is continuously influencing lifestyle and trends shown in fashion.
Imagine you are designing for the future trend of Spring/Summer 2017. Your task is to design an outfit incorporating the theme of ‘Culture’. We want you to portray what culture means to you!
Here are some examples that might influence your design…
- rise of social media
- celebrity culture
- sub cultures (Punks, Mods, Rockers)
- artistic movements (Pop Art, Abstract, Graffiti)
Submission Requirements
You will be required to enter the following work to fulfil the brief:
- one moodboard (A4 only) showing your inspiration for your design
- one final illustration (A4 only) of your design
Guidelines
- only one entry is allowed to be submitted per person
- must live or study within the South East Essex area
- open to the general public and schools
- designs must be your own work
- entry form must be attached to your work
